Location: London Required for operator in London area. To start ASAP, contract duration will be long term. To manage projects within the Surface Solutions programme. These are a number of projects that cover a wide range of subjects (Well Engineering, HSSE, production and maintenance systems).
Responsibilities:
- Developing and communicating a thorough understanding of the requirements for project.
- Laising with, building and maintaining good working relationships with IT, 3d party suppliers, Projects Managers, Business Analyst, Applications Programme Manager, Consultants and individual team members.
- Ensure the solution developed meets the requirements and is fit for purpose.
- QA activities and deliverables, liaising with design teams and proactively managing issues/blockers.
- Lead and manage the project team through the requirements capture phase, understand the current business processes, manage the design, manage the implementation of the solution.
- Develops and maintains knowledge of best practice processes and relevant business applications for each business area.
- Leads and stimulates robust discussion on proposed solution.
- Problem solving and presenting proposals / recommendations of solutions.
- Change Management.
- To deliver project on time and within budget.
- To manage the full budget capabilities of the project, reporting forecasting on a monthly basis to specified deadlines.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree qualification (or equivalent).
- Must have well engineering systems experience.
- Good business experience and delivery of Production System projects.
- Proven business leadership skills in a global environment.
- Proven experience in planning production system projects, preferably from within a similar environment and managing third party suppliers.
- Good reporting skills.
- Experience of operating at a senior level within IT&T business consultant role.
