Crewing Superintendent
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
* Assist Crewing Manager on the day to day activities.
* Support Crewing Manager in managing the crewing department and to provide administrative support to the crewing department especially in training, invoicing, filing, traveling, and other jobs.
* Assist Crewing Manager for any crew traveling for signing on or signing off (to liaise with the travel agent in issuing the air warrants once the bookings are confirmed to assist with land transportation).
* Dealing with all vessel crew for any issue involving crewing matters.
* Assist crew who are required to attend offshore training, Rigging and Slinging, other related training courses for the crew as and when required by the Charterers and to liaise with the training provider on the possible dates and confirmation.
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Engineering (Marine) or Maritime Studies.
* 10 years of working experience in Oil & Gas or Marine industry is required for this position.
* Have a good rapport with immigration, customs and marine department.
* Seafaring background or experience from a similar position and have sufficient knowledge of crewing requirements.
* Good knowledge of International Maritime Rules & Regulations.
* Firm and pleasant personality and knowhow to handle crew problems and grievances.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to handle stress and long working hours.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
