MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. Engineering. M.S. or PhD in Engineering or other advanced professional engineering degree is highly desirable. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or registration is highly desirable. Experience: Ten (10) years of professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in field of specialty. Incumbent will normally have achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI and others. Must have published several papers in technical journals. Work direction skills are a prerequisite in some job applications. Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and be willing to transfer implicit knowledge to specialists and engineers in the field.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Company is seeking an Engineering Specialist with extensive experience in process control and automation systems for gas plants, NGL,refineries, bulk plants and terminals. Experience should include reviewing projects for process automation projects that includes project proposals, design reviews, factory and site acceptance testing, searching for new technologies for the processes, expertise in the implementation od DCS, ESD, vibration monitoring, compressor control and regulatory control of the hydrocarbon processes. Experience with a major oil and gas corporation is preferred. Candidate must be able to work with different disciplines such as operating sites, process engineering, facility planning, project management. Candidate is required to travel to different sites which are spread across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Requires a good understanding of chemical engineering principals and plant operations. Advanced degree in Chemical or electrical Engineering is preferred. Ability to work with others and good communication skills (written and oral) are required.

The Process Control Division provides expertise and specialists in process automation in the areas of Distributed Control Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems, Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition Systems and Remote Terminal Units etc.
