In less than 15 years Addax Petroleum has developed into one of the largest and fastest growing independent oil producers inWest Africa and a pioneering investor in the North of Iraq by targeting world-class opportunities in the most prolific petroleum basins. Addax Petroleum’s assets are located in Nigeria, the Joint Development Zone of São Tomé & Príncipe, Nigeria, Gabon, Cameroon and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, comprising an excellent combination of oil and gas reserves and exploration opportunities. The Company now holds a total of 25 licensed blocks, with 15 undergoing exploration and 10 under development, while 17 are offshore and 8 onshore. The Company’s approximate net average oil production as at December 31, 2008 was 136,500 bopd.
