Our client has an immediate need for an Intermediate/Senior mechanical Designer for their Manufacturing plant here in Calgary. Our client is an industry leader in pipe coating solutions for the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will help design the industrial equipment used in the coating process.
The ideal candidate may come from either a mining, steel or related industrial equipment design background. This position is initially an 8 week contract opportunity with the potential of continuing long term.
Requirements:
- 3+ years Mechanical design experience with heavy machinery ( ie. Facility equipment such as conveyors and assembly lines)
- Experience using either AutoCAD 2004, 2008, 2009, 2010
- Experience using Inventor OR Solidworks software.
- Experience working in a fast paced environment.
- Mechanical design diploma from a recognized educational institution.
