You will be responsible for Assisting the Senior Mining Engineer in the extraction of ore through effective technical and financial planning. Maintaining a working knowledge of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations Assisting with the identification of the best extraction methods and sequences for production optimisation Designing stoping methods for the underground operation using mining software packages Collecting and assisting in the analysis of daily, weekly and monthly mining physicals Collecting information required for daily and monthly production reporting, schedule/design assessment and modification Ensuring accurate and current data collection for facilitating prompt month end reporting Carrying out Underground Ventilation Officer duties Providing miscellaneous technical and mining engineer.
Salary R600k
Benefits Medical Aid, Pension + 13th Cheque
Experience 5+ yrs in underground mining
Qualifications Degree in Mining
