Senior Exploration Geologist

• Opportunity to progress into the role of Exploration Manager in the future
• Responsible for project management, QA/QC, resource development and definition
• Grassroots, brownfields and near mine exploration
• Established, modern campsite
• 2 projects – over 500,000 ounces Gold
• Additional copper anomaly
• Small, laid back company with strong board with geological and mining backgrounds
• Report to the Geology Manager and mentor 3 Junior Geos
• Goal to fast track into production within 18 months

• Simultaneously manage a small team of Project Geologists, Field Assistants and Contractors as well as managing multiple projects
• Gold, Copper and Zinc projects
• Involved in moving the exploration project into a producing mine site as well as future feasibility studies
• Be directly involved in the compilation and interpretation of drilling data as it related to resource development, exploration target definition and programmes
• Promotion plans in process from day one (mentoring, training and development = progression to the next level)
• Perth Based role commuting to site at your own discretion

• Expanding gold producer focused on increasing resources
• A significantly autonomous role, reporting to the GM of Geology
• Manage exploration team of 6, control budgets and strategise exploration programmes
• 2012 exploration budgets in excess of $35 million
• This is a role that will eventually progress to Exploration Manager
• FIFO 8:6 roster

You will have over 6 years exploration experience and a relevant Geology degree to be considered for these positions.
