We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for our Mineral Sands processing plant in Pinkenba, Brisbane. This role will be responsible for providing electrical and mechanical maintenance planning services for the dry mill operations as well as other operations within the QLD region.

Your primary objective will be to ensure that preventative maintenance plans are prepared and operations are provided with an appropriate level of day-to-day maintenance planning support to achieve production targets.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice on plant serviceability and maintenance requirements to ensure plant reliability
- Identifying and modifying maintenance task lists to ensure a high condition of plant from maintenance activities.
- Contributing to maintenance improvement processes and initiatives relating to plant availability
- Ensuring that risk management techniques are appropriately used
- Coaching and developing team members and apprentices
- Keeping the maintenance team and other maintenance planners informed on all significant issues with respect to plant and other operation maintenance strategies and activities
- Implementing and communicating weekly maintenance and performance KPI's

To be successful in the role you will have relevant trade and mining/plant experience as well as demonstrated experience in maintenance management as practices. You will have strong Microsoft office suite skills as well as significant CMMS planning and resource processing plant experience.
You will have the ability to supervise a team and plan and organise multiple work tasks as well as a methodical approach to tasks and strong problem solving skills.
