Drill and Blast Engineer- Underground Gold Mine- FIFO 8/6
 
TRS currently have an exciting opportunity for a Drill and Blast Engineer to join one of Western Australia’s premier underground Gold Mines.  This position will be offered on an 8/6 FIFO basis from Perth.
 
This role will focus on providing drilling and blasting designs, planning and scheduling in order to enable the mine’s production targets to be met.  It will also be responsible for optimizing stoping performance through monitoring of stope performances and stope reconciliations.
 
Applicants should:

• Have a Degree in Mining Engineering
• At least 2 years experience as a Drill & Blast Engineer
• Ability to work towards qualification as WA First Class Mine Manager

Excellent camp recreational facilities are available on site.  You will fly in and out on company time and all meals and accommodation will be provided.  There is no daily commute between the camp and the mine and the flight to Perth is just 1 hour.
