A global mining house with operations around Australia is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner for one of their unique mining operations.

With output increasing year upon year, they are increasing resources in many departments to cope with demand of this commodity.

Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring maintenance operations to maximise equipment and resource availability.

Your duties will include:

• Providing technical support to the fixed / mobile plant operations to maximise reliability.
• Producing maintenance plans and schedules.
• Planning and organising all labour, equipment and materials.
• Monitoring maintenance activities and reporting on performance.
• Continuously monitoring and analysing performance for continuous performance.
• Leading and mentoring planners within the team.

Suitable candidates:

• Minimum 5 years mine planning experience.
• Electrical or mechanical trade background.
• Competent in fixed and mobile plant equipment.
• Strong SAP and Microsoft Project skills.
• Active team player.
