As an ASX listed, International organisation focussed on agricultural and mineral resources, our client is a leader in their operational markets. In recent years they have experienced a rapid expansion and continue to exceed expectations year on year.

Their Brisbane office is urgently seeking an experienced HSE Adviser to assist site management to implement the requirements of the plan and statutory regulations in their processing plant.

Within this role you will take responsibility for:

• Participating as an active member of the Management Team and the broader HSE leadership group through engaging professional discussion and debate amongst team members.
• Preparing and communicating regular reports on operations using Company business systems.
• Assisting the Managers to perform their broad OH&S related duties in accordance with current legislation through the achievement of specified competency based training
• Implementing effective solutions on the safe, reliable and cost efficient operation of the site to meet required outcomes
• Working with the Management and Staff to Influence the culture of the site to meet the goals of the Zero Harm program

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:

• Diploma or above in Safety Management
• Minimum of 3 yrs in manufacturing and warehousing distribution environment in a Safety & Health leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of OH&S Acts & Regulations
• Knowledge of Risk Management Processes and incident investigation techniques
• A sound knowledge of the transport industry and the safety issues that relate to the industry including DG transport, fatigue management and CoR
