A nationally recognized and rated Oil Field Service Company is looking for an HSE Professional for an open ended contract opportunity in Williston, North Dakota.
The ideal candidate with have previous oil field experience with environmental health and safety, and drilling experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify potential safety & health hazards and discrepancies with safety policy, regulatory agency standards and develop solutions.
- Plan and conduct evaluations of potentially hazardous conditions including exposure monitoring.
- Prepare reports for submission to supervisors, primary investigators and/or managers, which identify the potential hazards and/or program discrepancies, and provide recommendations for control and compliance.
- Participate in or lead accident/incident investigations.
- Participate in the development and delivery of safety training for employees.
Required Skills for HSE Professional (Oilfield) Job:
BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN BASIC OR APPLIED SCIENCE
ENGINEERING
SAFETY
INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE
OR RELATED FIELD
PREVIOUS OILFIELD EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
H2S CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
SAFELANDS CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
OSHA 30 HOUR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
