Reporting to the Senior Electrical Design Engineer, the Process Systems Programmer is responsible for developing and maintaining process and control systems throughout PotashCorp’s potash sites and Technical Services.  In addition, technical assistance will be provided to potash sites to identify and resolve problems directly related to process systems within the scope of the Process Systems Programmer.

The successful candidate will be a graduate from a recognized University with a degree in Computer Science or a technical school with a diploma in Computer Science, supplemented by a minimum of 5 years’ related experience.  Knowledge of programming languages (specifically languages incorporated into the .Net architecture), object-oriented development techniques, relational and non-relational databases, Structured Query Language (SQL) and application development methodologies is necessary.  Experience in process control systems would be an asset.

The successful candidate may be required to undergo a background check.  All safety sensitive positions require a substance test in accordance with PotashCorp policy.
