THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil & gas company to provide an Onshore Projects Pipeline Engineer. Residential status, based in Paris with missions in France and overseas. 1 year (renewable) contract. Excellent rates.
THE PERSON
Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience. Candidate will be assigned to offices of the contractor as representative. Responsibilities will include: Provide Lead Onshore Pipelines function, assistance and technical advice in development & coordination of engineering. Assist in preparation of records for company, partners, authorities as required. Assist in coordinating reporting on technical & contractual issues. Preparation of good quality reports timeously. Help engineers from different disciplines when they encounter difficulties. Assurance of permanent contact with contractors on engineering issues. Guarantee progress of project in line with objectives. Guarantee that contractor implements means necessary for achieving objectives. Initiation & participation in management of interfaces throughout project. Preparation in connection with entity contract management new, tender projects with amendments, including those for supplies of equipment delays. Negotiation of corresponding contracts, and their follow-up in implementation phase.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Ideal candidate will have a degree / diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualifications / experience. Skills required include Engineering, Construction, Planning, HSE, management of contractors & engineering team, Tendering & contracting, Cost control. Good computer skills. Bilingual French / English.
