Our client is an International Mining company with mines on 3 continents. With active projects at all of their mines, they are looking for experienced Geo Technicians to join their growing team.
The Role:
The Company seeks a Geo Technician to join their team in Western Canada. The successful candidate will be willing to work in a team setting in a camp environment, and will have related industry experience. Specifically, the Geo Technician will:
Assist with field work on drill sites
Operate magnetic probe and gravity scales
Handle store cold boxes
Measure parameters of technical data
Record parameters of technical data
The Candidate:
Applicants for this role must have the following:
Technical diploma, with experience in mineral exploration or relevant industry training
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to pay attention to details and work in a time sensitive environment
Ability to work well in a team in a camp environment
First Aid Training
Valid Driver’s license
