Currently our client is seeking  qualified Mechanical Commissioning Engineers who have had previous experience within the Manufacturing / Mining or Oil and Gas sector.

Main duties:

•  Mechanical testing and commissioning
• Installation of processing equipment
• Project reporting
• Administration and co ordination of multi discipline commissioning activities
• Cost effective designs and engineering practices
• Complete checks of engineering calculations and drawings
• Monitoring subcontractor Engineers
• Ensure compliance is adhered to within contractual specifications
• Ensuring all commissioning documentation is accurate and stored appropriately
• Ability to identify the requirements for Engineering input into projects

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
• 10+ years industry experience preferably in Mining /Oil and Gas
• Onsite experience in commissioning would be advantageous
• Project Management skills
• A strong work ethic
• Australian residency
• Methodical organized and advanced problem solving skills
• A high level of technical accuracy and experience
