Position Description

Currently Recruiting for: Maintenance Development Program-Diesel Mechanic

Program Description:

Peabody Energy is partnering with the Gillette College to implement a Maintenance Development Program designed specifically to meet Peabody Powder River Services, LLC (PPRS) requirements

The program is designed to take one year to complete
Curriculum is scheduled with 40 weeks of classroom instruction and 12 weeks of on-the-job training incorporated into the classes
Graduates of the program will receive and Associates Degree

Program Requirements

Ability to work safely and promote the safe behavior in others
High School diploma or GED
Ability to pass College Compass test in Math and English, for Gillette College acceptance requirements
Letter of reference from current/previous employer and/or teacher
Preference given to local candidates
