Vacancies currently exist within the Technical Services Department of the George Fisher Mine, for two Diamond Drilling Supervisors. This is a residential position based in Mount Isa, Queensland.

Reporting to the Superintendent of Geology, you will be responsible for the coordination and quality leadership of a shift crew. You will have good time management skills with the ability to recognise and allocate priorities appropriately within your crew. Your ability to plan, organise and control shift operations will have you optimising the use of available resources and will ensure your targets and objectives are met consistently. Furthermore, you will be safety conscious and a diligent supervisor who communicates and interacts with all areas of the business.

Ideally, you will possess technical knowledge and firsthand experience in Diamond Drilling, along with a strong commitment to safety and the delivery of quality outputs. Previous supervisory experience and attainment of S1, S2, S3 competencies will be highly regarded, as will a basic knowledge of budgeting and cost control processes.
