This role will see the successful person be part of the Asset Management team working as an Infrastructure Maintenance Planner - reporting to the Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator. You will be responsible for prioritising workload in order to deliver the weekly schedule for the team in a manner that achieves full compliance with the Asset Management, Maintenance and Infrastructure Business Plans.  

Main Responsibilities

• Undertake Infrastructure Maintenance Planning activities to ensure operational objectives are achieved 
• Schedule all planned maintenance and engineering work together with any planned work to be performed during shutdowns 
• Contribute to the review of operational targets and plans 
• Recommend and implement changes to business practices to enhance quality of outcomes 
• Identify operational issues, conduct relevant analysis and develop solutions to regular and/or recurring Infrastructure Maintenance Planning issues and recommend applicable changes 
• Apply knowledge of Infrastructure Maintenance Planning practices to design, implement and evaluate bodies of work that impact the operation
• Influence and convince key stakeholders towards the achievement of maintenance objectives 
• Minimise risks by analysing a variety of alternatives to determine the best course of action when resolving recurring problems

 
In order to apply you will have 

• Relevant trade qualification
• Experience in working in the Mining sector
• Knowledge of maintenance systems
• An understanding of project management methodologies
• An ability to develop maintenance plans
• Excellent team involvement, mentoring, coordination and communication skills
