We Offer

Maersk Supply Service is operating the largest fleet of deepwater offshore support vessels in the world, currently employing approximately 220 staff onshore globally and 2,000 offshore.

Maersk Supply Service currently operate 67 vessels with 2 newbuildings on order with operations in all major offshore regions such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, West Africa, North Sea and South East Asia.

The organisation operates internationally with own representation in United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Angola, Brazil and Equatorial Guinea and is characterized by a dynamic and informal tone and has a very strong team culture. In other countries we liaise closely with the local Maersk organisations.

We now have an open position for an Area Manager in our Perth office which covers the Far East/Australia (east of India and west of the Date Line).

Key Responsibilities

The role will be to oversee the activities of Maersk Supply Service in the area, both existing business as well as new potential opportunities in the area.

Our philosophy is that each position carries responsibility for both chartering and operations. Your responsibility will thus cover all aspects from identifying the market opportunities, marketing our services, bid process, negotiating fixtures and right through to execution of the job i.e. the vessels delivering the “product”.

Our business is mainly within the exploration and development segment of the oil industry which is an industry characterised by strong personal business relationships where the right person can make a difference by building close, friendly and trustworthy relationships with customers and other stakeholders in the industry.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who likes to meet and talk to people, and displays good entrepreneurship. You are a team player with a proactive and independent drive, operational flair and open to change, good interpersonal skills and not least a sense of humour.

You have experience from chartering and operation, preferably within the offshore industry.

You can expect about 50 days of travel annually.
