Reporting to the Mine Foreman, opportunities exist at one of our Underground Operations for an Underground Shift Supervisor. The successful applicants will have extensive recent experience operating a twin boom Jumbo and you possess the motivation, team focus, safety approach, skills and experience to contribute to the success of our operation. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
Providing safety and environment leadership 
Coordinating daily production activities including achieving work quality standards 
safe drilling of development headings including the installation of appropriate ground support 
Fostering a continuous improvement culture with a strong unit cost control and productivity focus 
Developing your people and team to ensure a motivated workforce with a high sense of ownership in the business 
Demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement, team success and safe work practices 

Education & Experience: 
WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency 
Previous Supervisory experience desirable 
Experience in UG hard rock mining techniques including level development and the installation of ground support; 
Experience in the charging, firing, bogging and trucking of development headings desirable 
Experience using Tamrock drills 
The ability to work unsupervised 
A strong focus on teamwork 
Good communication skills 
Demonstrate a commitment to continual improvement, team success and safe work practices
