We are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer for an 'ongoing contract' located just off Aberdeen City Centre.

Responsibilities and tasks
To take a leadership role and be responsible for the day to day execution of Engineering Projects.
To understand strategic aspect of the project in order to implement optimum approach.
Responsible for the delivery of cost estimates and schedule to client as part of the work
approval process
Responsible for the execution of work according to the agreed schedule and budgets
Satisfactory delivery of the Contract KPI’s as appropriate to allocated work
To be responsible for updating plans, schedules and progress reports.
To take day to day responsibility for execution of the project.
To liaise with the Client Representative.
To ensure the Project is adequately resourced and to identify additional requirements for action by the Project Manager.
To co-ordinate the efforts of all discipline engineers involved in the Project.

Qualifications & personal attributes
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Educated to degree level
Chartered or Incorporated Engineer.
In depth understanding of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry.
Demonstrable technical expertise and understanding of all engineering disciplines.
Demonstrable relevant professional and engineering experience within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Previous experience in a Project or Senior Project Engineering role.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Self motivated and results driven.
