Parts Manager - Mining Products Central Asia

Details: Our client is a major distributor of mining equipment in the region. They are the market leader in Central Asia and are expanding to cater for the growing demands of these tiger economies.
Reporting to the Senior Parts & Warehouse Manager, as Parts Manager - Mining Products you will solely be responsible for the successful implementation of parts support both in the capital and at various mine sites. It will be your responsibility toestablish adequate site inventories and site dealer personnel to support existing and future equipment sales. Through the development of warehousing and staff development you will ensure that inventory shortages do not affect the operations of the company.
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
Mechanical/ Electrical trade or other relevant qualifications
10+ years of experience in Parts/ Inventory roles
Understanding of the mining industry and environment, with special emphasis on equipment and distribution business
Previous dealer background preferred
This is a residential position based in a capital city with site visits as required during the week. The role offers a competitive package to accommodate a family or single status. The package on offer includes a generous travel allowance to return to POH, accommodation, schooling and medical coverage. Also included are short term incentives and a bonus payable on completion of the three year contract.
