To match the needs of our rapidly expanding global customer base, we are seeking to fill the postion of Senior Reliability Engineer in our office in Vancouver, Canada.
As a Senior Reliability Engineer you will provide expert consultation and specialized advice to clients on reliability, maintenance, failure management, predictive strategy and engineering. The Senior Reliability Engineer will also be responsible for delivering instruction on best practice use of our maintenance products, facilitating customer workshops, and mentoring subordinates.
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Mine-Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering. Membership or eligibility for membership in APEGBC is an asset. Post graduate studies in Reliability Engineering or Maintenance management are highly desirable. Three to five years of experience related to the maintenance, planning and reliability engineering of mobile mine equipment are a must. Previous training, consulting, or facilitation experience will be highly regarded.
A demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet aggressive deadlines, balance technical and business requirements, and provide strong leadership in a team matrix environment, is required. Excellent English presentation, oral, and written communication skills are essential. Professional-level Spanish, Portuguese or Russian language skills are highly desirable. Some international travel will be required. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.
