The Opportunity:
  
One of Australia's Leading Civil and Mining Contractors is currently seeking a Senior Civil Estimator for Major Projects in Queensland.
Ideally you will have 10 years + experience working for a Major Contractor on Large Civil Projects including Dams, Bridges, Earthworks and Mine Infrastructure.
You must have worked on projects ranging from $70 to $100 million.

The Role:
  
You will be working on Major Civil Projects in Queensland and be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Preparation and Submission of High Quality Tenders
- Review & Analysis of Tender Documents
- Cost Evaluation and Analysis of Materials, Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Liaison with Key External and Internal Stakeholders
 
The Requirements: 

- Degree Qualified - Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar related discipline will be highly desirable
- Extensive Exposure to a variety of large civil construction projects including MAJOR EARTHWORKS is essential - minimum 10 years
- Major Contractor Experienced Workers will be highly regarded
- Proven Experience in Delivering High Quality Tender Documents
- Superior Technical Expertise & Innovative Thinking
- Great Working Knowledge of Estimation Software - EXPERT,CATS, ETTA
- Superior Communicator with Excellent Client Liaison, Organisational and Management Abilities
- Ability to Prioritise and Challenge the Traditional Methods of Tender Preparation
- In addition you must be the kind of person who prides themselves on building and contributing towards highly effective teams.
