Process Training Supervisor north of Juneau, Alaska, USA
Coeur Alaska is recruiting a Process Training Supervisor for its Kensington Gold Mine, presently under construction, located 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for achieving KPI’s for relevant areas of work.
Responsible for the training and skills of all crews within the Process groups area.
Develops training programs – using combination of training room presentations, field training, and hands-on training techniques.
Responsible for assisting with the shift pre-start safety and planning meetings.
Responsible for ensuring training skills and operator performance reviews are filled in correctly and handed to the crew supervisors.
Assists with providing direction to operators within all crews, and the Operations & Maintenance Coordinator.
Act in Mill Operations Supervisor role as required.
Performs other related tasks as required and assigned.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience in mineral processing, including supervision experience. Successful candidate must have advanced working knowledge and skills with computers utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, and other applicable Microsoft Office programs. This position will work a four (4) days on/three (3) days off schedule.
