A mechanical background engineer required for international organisation to provide technical support to the sales team in the supply of water products, pumps, pipes, valves, flanges.

Our client is a world leader in water technology, providing equipment and construction to the main water authorities and construction companies. They service all of Victoria's main authorities. Operating throughout 300 companies, with a $4bn turnover they are a huge brand.

In Victoria alone they have increased turnover  by 20% this year alone. They require a mechanical based coordinator to offer support between their 3 specialist departments. You will interact between the logistics, engineering and sales department making sure the operation runs smoothly. Responsible for providing internal/external customers with selection and application support for various types of Packaged pump stations, Pressure Sewer Systems and accessories. The individual is also responsible for identifying suitable vendors and coordinating with existing vendors for PPS/PSS components and providing technical support including suitable pump station selection and costing.

The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering. Ideally they will have a knowledge base of the water industry, including an understanding of pumps and other mechanical equipment. You will have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a range of industry professionals.
