We are currently looking for a Lead Planning Engineer
Responsibilities and tasks
Assist the Head of Planning in the implementation of project planning, scheduling and reporting and continue to work as part of the planning department.
Maintenance of the project overall planning requirements.
Ensure all relevant project procedures are applied as required.
Maintenance of overall project schedules for progress and man-hour expenditure.
Preparation and issue of all planning status and the impact of changes in the scope of work and provide recommendations to the project line management.
Update and maintenance of the company integrated management system, ensuring system integrity at all times.
Responsible for maintaining the Change Control register and their incorporation into the overall schedule.
Supervision of the project planning personnel.
Nothing takes priority over Safety.
Be aware all injuries, occupational illnesses, material losses and environmental damage incidents are preventable.
Focus on building and developing our pro-active measures to HS&E.
Enhance our Management Systems to assist in the implementation of the ZERO
Qualifications & personal attributes
University Degree in Business / Project Management preferred
Higher Level School Education preferred
Competent user of industry standard planning tools / systems.
Demonstrable experience in the field of planning and project controls within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity.
Able to display good communication and supervisory skills.
Good “Team” player
