Aker Solutions' based in Calgary, Canada, is a leading global provider of EPC/EPCM, products & Technology, Field Services, and Integrated Solutions. We need an experienced Scheduler who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Calgary, Canada Area.
Responsibilities and tasks
Responsibilities will include:
• Developing and maintaining detailed CPM (Critical Path Method) plans and
schedules for various projects.
• Facilitating manpower planning for projects.
• Providing project resource analysis.
• Creating and analyzing weekly status reports for projects.
• Identifying and reporting all related project control matters.
• Managing work to ensure all scheduled deadlines are met
Qualifications & personal attributes
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Technical diploma, university degree or equivalent related experience.
• Excellent communication skills including strong English language skills
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Analytical ability.
• Ability to multi task.
• Minimum 5 years scheduling experience in a multi project Engineering,
Fabrication or Construction environment.
• Strong familiarity with Primavera Project Planner (P3) or Primavera 5.0
software.
• Superior problem solving skills
