Senior Mine Engineer Green River, Wy, USA
Our Client, a leading diversified chemical company, has an immediate opening for a Senior Mine Engineer at its industrial chemicals operation in Wyoming.
Key Responsibilities
· AFEs for mine projects
· Mine cost reductions
· Mine planning
· Dust control / air quality
· Production improvement projects in the mine
· Area budget, including capital spending and forecast
· Rock mechanics
· Engineering assistance on major mine projects
Activities
· Research and write AFEs for mine projects
· Facilitate mine cost reductions
· Relieve for maintenance / production coordinators
· Monitors mine ventilation i.e. coordinate ventilation crew efforts
· Develop production improvement projects in the mine
· Address ergonomic issues in the mine
· Capital planning
· Test new products
· Conduct tests on roof stability
· Design roof stability i.e. rock mechanics
· Mine tours
· Provide engineering assistance on major mine projects
· Assist MSHA in quarterly inspections and gas checks
· Provide geology support
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering or equivalent.
