True technically focussed role;-  

• Cover all facets of mine planning
• Delivery of mine plans out to 5 years against LOM indications. 
• Pit optimisation and waste dump design.
• Analyse risk in operational development - report to Senior Management.
• Infrastructure/equipment selection.
• Risk analysis in operation development.
• Set up new systems and manage, mentor and develop the team of four Mining Engineers into these methods.

A Bachelor of Mining Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 6-8 years of experience are required. Strong software skills, preferably in Surpac, are also essential.
