A privately owned electrical engineering consultancy, specialising in design and drafting across a number of heavy industry sectors including Mining and Petrochemical, are looking for an additional team member.  This small, dynamic team is based in Brisbane and is experiencing considerable, consistent growth.  This is your opportunity to become involved in projects that will both utilise your current abilities, and challenge you further.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and have several years experience in Australian industry.  Hazardous Area Training Certification would be beneficial, and RPEQ status, or working towards it, would be regarded as highly advantageous.

• Ability to manage a team of Engineers and Graduates
• New business development and client liaison
• Knowledge of drafting, design and control systems
• Technically minded with the ability to read engineering drawings and plans
• Proactive implementation and improvement of systems and procedures, including Safety, Quality Assurance and Service.
• Capable with internal accounts, auditing, invoicing and budget maintenance

A positive, forward thinker, you must be willing to utilise your skill set, while learning and developing within the role.  A mature attitude and strong work ethic are essential.  The ability to work accurately, in a timely manner and within budget must be demonstrated in previous working environments.
