Regional Geotechnical Manager (Mining)
 
Design & Build is seeking a Regional Manager for the Geotechnical Team of one of Australia's leading Mining Companies. Due to the client requirements and spread of work, this role can be either Perth or Brisbane based,
 
Key responsibilities of the Geotechnical Manager will include:

• Lead all technical aspects of the of the mining geotechnical group

• Developing and Managing annual budget, safety and client relationships
• Undertaking continuous improvement of geotechnical practices and procedures and interact with other service line managers to maintain and promote overall company growth
• Establishing strong rapport with colleagues in the team as well as other teams within the operation

To succeed in the of Geotechnical Manager role you will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and ideally postgraduate experience
• A minimum of 8 years experience in geotechnical practices and previous experience in mining and resources
• A proven track record in the delivery of projects on schedule
• Experience in a variety of commodities
• Strong financial and management acumen
• Knowledge and understanding of the Australian market
