1.

Performs minor repairs to to mine lubrication system as required.

2.

Identifies and reports unusual noises or malfunctions on equipment

3.

Will perform job functions in an area designated by the shift supervisor & will be readily available to supply required services to operators as required.

4.

Steam clean equipment and perform other Serviceman functions as required, eg: changing filters, topping up fluid levels and greasing.

6.

Performs checks & makes minor repairs to equipment; tightening of loose hoses, clamps, lights, etc.

7.

Serviceman is responsible to ensure the servicing of his mtce vehicle is performed on a regular basis.

8.

Time allowing and as required, will perform any additional work the Supervisor  deems to be part of the incumbent’s overall job responsibilities.

9.

Night shift may be a requirement
