The client is looking to bring on a permanent C# resource to their team of 8 developers. They are currently in the process of re writing their proprietary accounting software that they specifically sell to Oil and Gas companies. It is written in C# and they are currently using version 4.0 and it sits on a SQL server database version 2008. Right now the application is in C# win forms but they are in the process of going towards an all web environment using ASP.net and doing object oriented development. They are currently writing all of the objects now. Their application is very large and this project is set to go for 2 more years. This role will be a mixture of new development and some maintenance of the old system. There may be times you will be asked to help with reporting using SSRS or Telerik.
They also cover the employee up to 100% on benefits. There are also times when this person can work from home after they build up trust within the company; the client has been around since 1980. There is opportunity for OT here on top of your salary, the owner just adds the hours you worked and pays you time and a half on your next check. You will be able to work as much OT as you want and you could do it from home on the weekends. They need all the help on this massive project as they can get.
