The Pittsburgh, PA office provides engineering, environmental and project management consulting services to clients developing the Marcellus Shale. As part of a growing pipeline services group, we are actively adding expertise in the area of pipeline environmental services to meet our client needs.

The successful candidate will have a desire to be involved in the environmental planning, permitting, and management aspects of pipeline projects. As a valued member of our North American pipeline team, you will have the ability to thrive in an atmosphere that supports cooperation and teamwork while contributing to the ongoing development of our services for the Marcellus.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Developing our Marcellus pipeline business
* Managing pipeline projects and environmental assessments
* Leading multi-disciplinary teams to complete environmental assessment and permitting reports and applications
* Providing senior review of technical reports, proposals and communications
* Making presentations and representing Golder at external meetings
* Providing client service
* Engaging in ongoing communication with stakeholders and regulators
* Preparing proposals
* Providing leadership, supervision, training and mentoring of junior staff
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in the natural sciences, engineering, or environmental related discipline
* A minimum of ten years of experience in environmental planning, permitting, and management aspects of pipeline projects
* Knowledge of US regulatory regimes for pipeline project development
* Proven project management skills
* Exhibiting excellent technical writing and communication skills
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated people skills and the ability to work in a team
