Williams Mining are pleased to present multiple senior geologist positions in Africa.

Our client is a leading mining company in search of experienced Chief Geologists, Resource Geologists and Exploration Geologists who have experience of working in Continental Africa. My client requires that such professionals have at least a degree in Geology and a proven track record within Geology in Africa.
All the positions listed below are based on a 2 year fixed term contract, with possibility of extension.

Chief Geologist | $150,000 – $170,000 TAX FREE + Excellent Benefits | Continental Africa
The Chief Geologist is responsible for all mine geology including grade control, structural geology, resource estimation, geotechnical aspects, mapping, reconciliation and resource development drilling. Successful candidates must show demonstrated results in managing geology operations.

As part of the job description you will also be responsible for overseeing ongoing exploration projects from grass roots level to feasibility stages, as well as assessing various Au projects reporting directly to the Mine Manager.

*Must be familiar with all aspects of geological modelling, database and other grade control software *Minimum of 10 years’ experience within Geology management.
*Good English reading and writing skills, especially reporting writing
*Team player able to work within a multi national environment
*Must have worked in continental Africa.
