THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading independent exploration and production company with operations all over the world to provide a Contracts Engineer / Manager to be based in Paris. Permanent staff position. Must be bilingual in French and English. Excellent rate / terms and conditions.
THE PERSON
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. The contract manager will be the main point of contact for contract matters with our drilling, shipping, project and other subsidiaries. Responsibilities will include, among others: Drafting, updating and archiving agreements. Set-up centralized contracts database and schedules. Advise on and provide relevant contractual documentation to all departments, London legal department and all subsidiaries; and overview the execution and closing of contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Engineering degree with technical background preferred. Legal training is preferable but not essential. Excellent knowledge and understanding of contracts and work related to drilling and ancillary services is an asset. Strong drafting skills. Computer literate. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English and French essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in France.
