Aker Solutions' drilling technologies business in Horten is a world leading supplier of drilling equipment, compensation and tensioning systems for drilling rigs and drill ships.  We need highly motivated individuals who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the deepwater drilling market.

Responsibilities and tasks

We are looking for a project manager in our Drilling lifecycle service department.

•Deliver projects to agreed time scale, budget and to specification
•Contact toward clients and internal
•Planning
•Control of project budget & timescales
•Commercial & contractual aspects of the project & facilitate changes within contract T&Cs
•Provide management and leadership to Core Project Team (Engineering/Supply Chain/QA/Aftermarket/Data Control)
•Overall progress monitoring to Project Plan with Project Planner
•Progress report to client and to company management as required
•Schedules and presides over the initial project planning meeting, kick-off meeting and arranges regular project staff meetings
•Networking with other production units

Qualifications & personal attributes

•BSc
•Experience as project coordinator
•Preferably experience from offshore business
