Description

 The incumbent in this role will assist and work with the associated underground Superintendents to direct, manage and control in the stope drilling & blasting Shift working activities in the Big Gossan Mine.   They will ensure all activities are executed safely and the target is achieved in a timely and most cost effective manner in order to support the continuity of the production in compliance with company policies, procedures, goals and objectives.     Additional responsibilities:   1.   Determine and implement monthly targets, plans and line up (work with engineering group       to ensure targets are met in timely manner.                        2.   Review cost data in order to approve cost expenses within the determine budget. 3.   Gives suggestion and advice to Superintendent to educate employees, including disciplinary                 action, in order to create good employee discipline in the department. 4.   Prioritize the works/tasks that the group has regarding with actual condition in the field and       the plan to ensure important matters are being taken care of as soon as possible. 5.  Transfer technology related to stope drilling & blasting activities and bring the team       knowledge (Staff and Non-Staff) to the professional standard in order to share better knowledge within national staff.  

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's (S1) degree with minimum ten (10) year's experience in Underground Operation or High School diploma with fifteen (15)           year's experience in Underground Operation as a management level and other underground aspects. ·         Strong Supervisor/Managerial skills. ·         Strong verbal and written communication skills. ·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ·         Strong Project Management skills. ·         Familiar with and having licensed for all UG equipment's required i.e. Loader, Drill Machine, etc. ·         Proven ability to work with a culturally diversified workforce. ·         Strong Stope Drilling & Blasting experience. ·         Good understanding in basic geological knowledge (rocks type and structure). ·         Computer proficient (MS Office). ·         Must be fluent in English.     Benefits:  Begin first day of employment
