Aker Offshore Partner Ltd based in Aberdeen, has excellent opportunities for talented individuals who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the engineering, construction, maintenance, modification and operations market.
We are currently looking for a Pursuit Manager to focus on bid preparation and management in the areas of Hook-up and Commissioning. The position will be located in Kirkhill, Dyce, Aberdeen.
Responsibilities and tasks
Deliver quality and winning tenders for future Hook-up and Commissioning opportunities. Lead team across Aker Solutions to ensure success. This will include ensuring co-ordination of accurate and comliant technical and commercial data. We anticipate that our tender managers will progress to manage successful projects, although this will depend on the opportunity and the manager in each situation. Specifically, this position requires candidates to build relationships with a range of personnel within Aker Solutions and with prospective clients. Due to the nature of our contracting business, these relationships need to become effective in a short space of time and deliver within usually tight timeframes. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development and is key to the future growth strategy of Aker Solutions.

Qualifications & personal attributes
Appropriate engineering or business based degree preferred. An experienced manager, capable of delivering to tight deadlines. Excellent relationship and influencing skills, with proven drive to ensure that teams deliver together. Experienced in hook-up and commissioning and particular experience in tender delivery required. Desmonstrable commercial acumen, with ability to liaise knowledgeably with commercial and estimating experts.
