We offer a 2-year program to graduates who wish to pursue an international career in a challenging, fast moving, interesting and highly rewarding environment while being exposed to a broad field of assignments and projects in the oil and gas industry.

Through a two-year intensive training and working period you will acquire insight and experience in the oil and gas industry based on your work for Maersk Oil, Danish Operations, in Esbjerg, Denmark (your home base). Within the 2-year period we offer two rotations each of 8 months to another Maersk location/department in order for you to broaden your knowledge, experience and network within the Maersk organization. During the entire two year period you will be mentored and supervised by Senior Engineers and in-house experts. 

You will be enrolled in A. P. Moller - Maersk’s technology and science program (MITAS). Besides technical training this program also provides courses in Denmark and abroad to develop business competencies within project management, economics, innovation and business plan writing.

Qualifications 

You have a Master's degree or civil engineer degree within one of below listed engineer disciplines:
-  Chemical/process engineering and Risk Assessment
-  Chemical engineering 
-  Chemical/mechanical/corrosion engineering
-  Mechanical engineering
-  Electrical engineering (instrumentation or power)
-  Mechanical or electrical engineering with projects related educational background/interest
-  Structures & pipelines
-  Construction 

Furthermore, we expect you to have a strong technical focus and drive. Previous working experience is not a requirement. You appreciate working independently and in cross-disciplinary and international teams. You are highly motivated and have excellent communication skills in verbal and written English.
