We Offer

The Maintenance and Materials Group in Maersk Drilling supports the worldwide fleet of offshore drilling units in all technical support and maintenance issues.

The maintenance planning and execution as well as materials support for our drilling units, is controlled in a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). The Maintenance and Materials Group ensures conformity of the CMMS system with relevant principles and theories.

Key Responsibilities

Maersk Drilling has entered an accelerated strategy resulting in an ambitious expansion of the offshore fleet of drilling rigs within the next five years. A key success factor for this strategy is a shared IT platform.

Your prime responsibility will be to represent the Maintenance discipline in this project, thereby ensuring that world class principles are recognised, developed and implemented.

Furthermore you will be responsible for:

• Collect input from on- and offshore maintenance stakeholders.
• Verify conformance of future platform with current Maintenance Philosophy, Politic and Strategies
• Participate in the development of verification programmes for interfaces with other IT applications, such as systems used within the international Drilling Industry.
• Conduct required tests of system applications.

Who we are looking for

Your background is Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with experience from operation and maintenance of marine/offshore installations or major industries onshore.

Furthermore, it is expected that you:

• have substantial knowledge and field experience in the area of maintenance execution based on a CMMS.
• have participated in strategic projects with the aim of improving processes.
• are willing to travel when needed in order to cover the responsibilities in the position
• are capable of negotiating with vendors and service providers in a multicultural environment thereby obtaining requested results by use of company policies and values.

You are capable to pass Medical Examinations and safety training applicable to non-regular crew which is required for travelling to offshore units.
