Elite Electrical Design Engineer

Simultaneously manage a small team, multiple projects and perform detailed design and on site commissioning for a circa $240M Copper plant upgrade - mineral processing plant and equipment.

Far from a one dimensional role, you will be involved with managing studies and ensuring these tenders turn into full cycle EPCM projects.
As a hands on senior (more technical involvement – collaborative approach) you will be directly involved in technical specifications and reports, engineering content of design drawings, detail design calculations, project/study equipment list, engineering input into PFD’s, P&ID’s and control philosophies, approving vendor data, conducting design group meetings and mentoring your electrical team.

This role includes client interfacing; you will be ensuring that the plant electrical design meets the process & project to the stakeholder’s requirements.

Competencies?

• 10 years electrical design experience in the mining and minerals processing industry.
• Australian and Study / Project specific Codes and Standards.
• Site experience – construction and commissioning.

• Chartered Engineers Status

With a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and 10 years EPCM Mining design experience.
