POSITION OVERVIEW:
Activities focus on providing analytical support for R&D projects and mining operations support within our Technology department
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 B.S. in Chemistry
 Must be authorized to work in the United States
 Analytical test methods
o Titrations
o Run ICP-AES (will be trained)
o Run ICP-MS (will be trained)
 Research Work Designing experiments (will be mentored)
o Literature searches
o Performing experiments in a safety conscious manner
o Carrying experiments out with a required level of quality, precision, and good note taking
o Writing lab reports
 Ability to perform heavy manual labor in an outdoor setting
 Ability to complete a task with minimal supervision
 Attention to detail and ability to learn new duties
 Ability to follow instructions
 Attention to safe work practices and knowing one’s limitations

 Our facility is at an elevation of 4700 feet

 Employees are subject to extreme weather conditions

o Extreme desert summer heat
 Work is in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, fumes or airborne particles.
 Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) during the course of the workday.
