Job description:

Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Design, tendering, contracts, estimation, construction, commissioning and project management.
Variety of mineral processing (gold, nickel, copper, aluminium) projects; ranging from $30M to $3BN.
Initial project involvement will consist of overall design/project management of a power plant for a $2.8BN nickel processing project.
Resolving overall project design kick off difficulties with standard specs, geotech complexities for the overall project affecting the power plant and the main process plant designs.
Design of electrical distribution centres (HV/MV/LV).
Responsible for all electrical, control and instrumentation design, vendor packages and overall design management.
HV design experience HIGHLY regarded.
Mid-sized consultancy in Perth CBD.
Contract or Staff.

B Electrical Engineering. 10+ years Mining EPCM experience.

Ideally able to work in all aspects of electrical and instrument engineering. Comfortable with all aspects of project management on major mineral processing projects, with a recent focus in FEED assignments and feasibility studies for energy aspects of projects.
