With a substantial workload across the transmission arena nationally, this global leader is seeking to further enhance their already highly skilled team with the addition of an experienced Transmission Line Design Engineer.

Reporting into the Principal and with a national remit, you will mainly be performing detailed design of transmission lines & substations as well as project managing small and medium design packages. A knowledge of electrical fittings, safety clearances, earthing system design and insulation coordination as applied to transmission line design layouts in essential. You will have strong technical specification writing skills supported by demonstrated knowledge of planning, protection, control, construction, operation and maintenance of transmission lines at voltages up to and including 500kV.

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering as well as proven transmission line design experience and demonstrated knowledge of high voltage electrical engineering are essential for your application to proceed. Strong communication and presentation skills are also required.
