THE POSITION

We are currently seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Auto Electrician with  advantage to those applicants with mechanical fitting experience for our Angas Zinc Mine to work as a member of the Angas Mine Mobile Maintenance Team. This role offers the suitable candidate career advancement opportunities, an attractive remuneration package and a Monday to Friday (5x2) day shift roster.   

Duties and responsibilities:

·         Carry out inspections, repairs and servicing for planned and scheduled maintenance of heavy duty mobile equipment where required.

·         Undertake diagnostic evaluations and identify appropriate measures to rectify or eliminate breakdowns.

·         Coordinate the workflow for maintenance of the mobile fleet to ensure service meets the requirements of the business.

·         Report all safety and potential work related issues or delays to the Leading Hand supervisor

·         Complete a pre start check prior to each task being performed to identify and mitigate risks.

·         Ensure all auto electrical and mechanical work is performed to a high standard and in accordance to the weekly maintenance schedule.

·         Complete an accurate shift handover report on a daily basis to include any issues and advise on job status.
