CH2M HILL Project Manager-Substation/Transmission Line Jobs - Atlanta, GA

The challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing demand for Electric power. Our Project Manager jobs help our utility clients provide safe, clean and reliable sources of Electric power. Each day you will use your expertise in substation and transmission line engineering to help our clients meet the power needs of their customers.

Our Project Managers :

• Lead growth and development of Substation and Transmission Line projects and clients in the Southeast region of the US.
• Monitor regional industry trends and identifies actions by the Enterprise to effectively serve Clients.
• Steward contract negotiations.
• Manage Substation and Transmission Line engineering projects.
• Monitor scope, schedule and budget for projects and manages client needs.
• Provide forecasts resource needs.
• Assist in identifying and hiring new technical staff.
• Support regional offices for substation and transmission line projects.
• Support bidding and estimating efforts in the Atlanta office.

Additional Information: CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H1B, etc.,) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Civil Engineering (BSCE) from accredited college or university
• Minimum 12 years in progressive experience in an EPC environment serving Power Delivery clients.
• Current assignment as a Project Manager for Power Delivery (Substation & Transmission) projects.
• Demonstrated client relationship/management skills.
• Demonstrated Business Development skills.
• Strong leadership & people management skills.
• Good technical skills.
• Demonstrated team player

Preferred Qualifications

• 15 years experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering services contract negotiations.
• Demonstrated experience in field assignments including start-up (commissioning) and construction strongly preferred.
• EPC experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in management of both Substation & Transmission engineering projects preferred
• PE Strongly preferred
• PMP certification from PMI is a plus
