As a leading renewable energy provider, my client is developing projects to meet growing market needs for renewable energy resources and technologies in order to provide sustainable and affordable electricity to Australian businesses and households. With well over 90 years in the hydro and electrical industry, the Melbourne office has recently won a new project and requires further assistance.  

In order to maintain their commitment to delivering key projects in a timely manner, they are seeking an experienced Civil Drafter to provide technical expertise.

To be successful in this role you will have exceptional technical skills in the area of civil drafting and at least 5 years exposure to designing sewers, earthworks, drainage, water reticulation, civil associated infrastructure. Any further experience in the drawings of substations, foundations, gantries and other structures will be highly regarded.

You will have a passion for working as part of a team. The ideal applicant will also have experience working to Australian standards and regulations.

Working on projects in the energy industry you will be responsible for designing in AutoCAD (experience in Microstation is favourable). Ideally you will have strong local experience of electrical design within Australia, preferably from a consulting environment.
